President & CEO
Eric M. Haimann
Education
- Graduated from Western Illinois University with a Bachelors of Science in Law Enforcement and Justice Administration and Minor in Music
Private Sector Experience
- In 2009, I started as a security officer for an agency that provided security for the Chicago Park District Harbors and other venues. I quickly rose to a Security Supervisor overseeing the companies multiple sites and officers.
- In 2011, I was hired by a Chicagoland Investigative Agency and formed the Security Services Division and was named Vice President of the company.
- In 2014, I incorporated Glenbard Security Inc.
- I am a licensed Private Security Contractor #119.001465 and Fingerprint Vendor #249.000748.
- Member of ASIS International.
- Member of Illinois Security Professionals.
Public Sector Experience
- In 2003, I began my career in law enforcement as an Explorer for a western suburban police department.
- In 2010, I was hired as a police officer at that same agency.
- I am currently a full time Detective with that agency assigned to the Investigations Unit where I handle all different cases ranging from frauds to violent crimes agains persons. Additionally, I conduct rigorous background investigations on police personnel and Village license applicants.
- In 2019, I was accepted to a countywide Forensic Investigations Task Force and in 2023 I was named the Deputy Commander of the Unit.
- I am also currently on the countywide Digital Forensics Task Force.
- I am one of the leaders in the Countywide and Chicagoland Real Time Operations/Crime Center Initiative.
- I currently hold many certifications including: Crime Scene Investigator, Juvenile Officer, Field Training Officer, IL Lead Homicide Investigator, Traffic Safety Management Instructor, ARIDE Certified, Crisis Intervention Training, Sex Assault Investigator, Reid Interview Technique, CTK Interview Technique, FLETC Mobile Investigations, Surveillance Techniques, Background Investigations.
Senior Vice President & Chief Operating Officer
Todd Kubish
Education
- Graduated from the Northwestern School of Police Staff & Command in 2011.
Private Sector Experience
- In 1992, I obtained my PERC card and was working retail loss prevention and internal theft investigations for two national retail chains.
- I worked for a major financial firm providing executive protection for the companies CEO.
- In 2018, I joined Glenbard Security Inc as its Chief Operating Officer overseeing the operations of the company.
- In 2020, I became a State of Illinois licensed CCL instructor and began teaching for GBS Training Academy.
- In 2020, I became a licensed fingerprint vendor #249.000990 and assisted in forming GBS Biometrics, a Division of Glenbard Security Inc.
Public Sector Experience
- In 1994, I began my career in law enforcement as a front desk operator for a western suburban police department and auxiliary police officer.
- In 1998, I was hired as a police officer at that same agency.
- I am currently a Deputy Chief of Police for that agency.
- Throughout my career I have held the roles of Field Training Officer, Tactical Officer, Detective, Sergeant, Watch Commander and Investigations Division Supervisor.
- During my time as a Detective and Investigations Division Supervisor I was apart of the countywide Major Crimes Investigations Unit & Public Integrity Team. I was honored to be assigned as a Team Leader for both Units.
- I have held many certifications including: Juvenile Officer, Gang Enforcement officer, Evidence Technician, Computer Crimes, IL Lead Homicide Investigator, Crisis Intervention Training, Sex Assault Investigator, Reid Interview Technique, CTK Interview Technique, Background Investigations, Field Training Officer and Field Training Supervisor.

Dave Kopeny
Education
- Graduated from University of California at Santa Barbara with a Bachelors in Law and Society
Private Sector Experience
- In 2020, I received my Private Investigator’s License #115.002642.
- Worked Public Safety & Security for a western suburban college campus.
- Joined Glenbard Security Inc. in 2023 and assisted in forming the Investigations Division.
- Created a specialized Drug Prevention program to educate parents/guardians and their children.
Public Sector Experience
- I retired after 30 years of serving the residents of DuPage County as a School Counselor, Probation Officer and Gang Investigator with the Sheriff’s Office.

Vice President & Chief Training Officer
Jose Pagan
Education
- Graduated from the Northwestern School of Police Staff & Command in 2024.
Military Experience
- Served 4 years in the United States Marine Corps (0331).
Public Sector Experience
- In 2002, I was sworn in as a police officer with a western suburban police department.
- I currently am a Sergeant assigned as the Afternoon Shift Watch Commander.
- I have been assigned to regional SWAT teams for the past 17 years and have served as a police sniper for 16 years. I am currently the Sniper Team Leader.
- I am a certified Firearms Instructor through the IL Law Enforcement Training Standards Board and a State of IL CCL Instructor #CC22L258.
- I currently provide Active Shooter, High Risk Felony Stop, Use of Force and Criminal Law instruction to western suburban law enforcement officers.
- I enjoy military and law enforcement competitive shooting events.
- I have been involved in two on-duty justifiable deadly force incidents.
