The companies history dates back all the way back to 2007.  The founder, Eric Haimann, started to dream as a young adult to create a company that provided the best security.  It began when Eric joined western suburban police Explorer Post at the age of 14.  This sparked his interest in the Law Enforcement field and gave him the practical knowledge and skills to start his long career in serving the public.  In 2007, Eric introduced a line of Emergency Vehicle Lighting to the company.  This was all done while he attended college at Western Illinois University.  Eric obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Law Enforcement and Justice Administration graduating in the top percentile of his class.  After getting hired by a suburban police department as a Police Officer he completed the State of IL Basic Police Officers Training Academy.  Eric was hired by a Chicagoland Investigative Agency and formed the Security Services Division and was named Vice President of the company.  This provided him  the experience needed to successfully start and grow the company.  On March 28^th, 2014 Glenbard Security became incorporated and began to introduce public safety equipment to the market.  Glenbard Security Inc. obtained its FFL from the ATF in 2014 as well.  On October 27^th, 2014 Eric became a licensed Private Security Contractor and on January 15^th, 2015 Glenbard Security Inc. became a licensed Security Agency. Glenbard Security Training Academy was formed in 2016 and held its very first IL Conceal and Carry class.  On October 6^th, 2017 the Illinois Department of Professional Regulation licensed the academy to conduct the 20 Hour Security Officer Firearms Training Course.  In 2018, Glenbard Security Inc. became a licensed fingerprint vendor agency with the State of Illinois and GBS Biometrics, a division of Glenbard Security Inc., was formed.  In 2024, Glenbard Security Inc. became Glenbard Security & Investigative Services Inc, when it created the Investigations Division of the company.  The company received its Private Investigation Agency License from the State of Illinois.  Eric always states that he could never have come as far as he has without the help and support of his family and close friends.
